The Presidium Emeritus Committee was created to give former World Assembly Presidents and some former World Assembly Vice Presidents a permanent and unified presence in the World Assembly.
The Committee exists to award outstanding members of the League and advise the currently serving President and to be a place where its members can bring forward their thoughts and opinions about matters.
The Chairman is whichever Committee member has served for the most full terms in the Presidium.
